It cannot be emphasized enough that diet acts a major function in handling diabetes, whatever type it may be. Basically, there are 3 usual types of diabetes, the type 1, type 2, and gestational type. In type 1 diabetes, there is completely no insulin developed by the body, so insulin medicines are required to render the body with the required insulin to preserve blood glucose levels. But Then, insulin is still produced in type 2 diabetes, but they are either lacking or the cells have already developed resistance toward the insulin. Finally, gestational diabetes occurs during pregnancy and is not much different from type 2 diabetes.
